I am a mom of 2 hearing boys. The difference is clear. The deaf children have a real excuse when they say they didn't hear you!

unless, if u r deaf. I f u r deaf, u cannot hear sounds, but u can make them, just cant hear them

some people may be like, half deaf or hard of hearing, but deaf people can't hear and communicate perfectly fine through sign language.
