I read the bible, and god of the old testament is rude, malicious, jealous, peevish, murderous, and many other horrible things. I really wouldn't want to follow a god that is that way. The Jesus thing never really felt real when I was at church. After that, I started to think about it in a non-biased way using logic without the mind-slave comments that says non-believers are foolish, going to hell, and that everything happens for a reaon that we can't understand. I found the bible to be faulty in logic and in chronology. I also went to college and realized all the knowledge from psychology, biology, anthropology, and other similar topics made more sense.

That is the shortest version of it.

The only thing that I have chosen not to believe is the bible. It makes no sense. Sin and hell are man made terms, not God made.

Why have you chosen not to think?

I examine the bible. i found out that it does no longer make one little bit of expertise. the whole Jesus element is truthfully off element. The previous testomony messiah standards in no way pronounced God become going to convey his son into the international. It did although say the messiah become going to be from the bloodline of King David. and because Jesus is the son of God, he won't be able to be from the bloodline of David. additionally, if he's from the bloodline of King David, he's not the son of God. that is one or the different. there are a number of different issues interior the bible that do purely no longer upload up in case you seem at them heavily. the undertaking is, Christians do no longer examine the bible in context and that they often interpret it the way they want it to be pronounced. There are areas interior the bible that say stone your baby in the event that they is disobedient. They consistently say, properly, that become for his or her time. I examine the bible as; I propose what it says and say what it ability.
