she broke up with me after 5 years of dating each other, I cannot stop thinking about her. I love her still. I really want her back. How do I get over her?

I have no idea, I just got dumped after 3.5 years. It sucks. I have tried everything. I hate it when I tell my self to stop thinking about her and thats when I think about her more. I get to see her everyday at work, I hate to see her smile....I hate to see her sad.... I hate seeing her. I know that I can not make her happy or that I can not make her miss me. Someone told me to kill her with kindness and not be a **** to her and she will remember why she fell in love with me. It's just hard to be nice to someone that has taken my heart and sliced it up like she was cutting a tomatoe. I keep telling myself that she gave me 3.5 years of her life and its time to move on, I hope she is happy.... I am just lying to myself. I hope she is miserable....for your question, I have no idea. I hate when people tell me to give it time. That is all I have and exactly what I don't want. Good luck, If you get her back or if you find someone else to take the pain away.

Sorry buddy. I have the same situation. I'm married to a wonderful woman now. I still think about my first love every week. Just the good stuff though. :) Wouldn't trade my life for her though. Time heals.
