I looked around for this and can't find out why they would put this wax in my lemon drops?

is it good to be eating wax?

When used in foods (chewing gum, candy, for example), carnauba wax acts as a surface finishing agent.

for the shine all good candy has wax in it godiva chocolats sure shines

probably to give them a nice smooth surface. i dont think its good for you but its def not bad for you.
