1. Warm up on the treadmill for 10 mins with walking.
2. Stretch for about 10 mins
3. Do the StairMaster or eliptical machine for 30 minutes at different intervals in order to burn fat.
4. Pick one day to do upper body or lower body (dont do both on the same day)
5. Always do some ab work... situps or machines at the gym that target that area.
6. Finish with a cool down on the bike for 10 minutes
7. Stretch again so your muscles recover from the stress you placed upon them

That depends what type of physical activity you like to do. Your workout should always be fun. I enjoy long distance running, so I go for a 3-4 mile run, lift weights, and then stretch. I switch it up now and then with some lap swimming or cycling.

One that fits your schedule and your body's personal needs.

Try searching yahoo for the 5x5 routine or other similar routines. They should help you gain a better understanding as to how your body reacts to certain exercises.
