If he has a partner he really shouldn't do it at all. Its the lack of moral he has thats making him do so. He shouldn't do it in front of his partner either because ofcourse it will hurt her, sometimes alot depending on how far he's going.
If you feel hurt or upset about this talk to him about it. be serious and let him know you feel and that your uncomfortable. Don't do the same thing and start talking and thinking of hot guys. That's just gona cause more problems and that psychology won't work in this situation.

It depends on the kind of relationship they have and on the open-mindedness of his partner. There are even some women who get off on her husband/boyfriend talking dirty about other women. It's a judgment thing. If your female partner won't feel jealous or threatened by such an honest discussion, why not?!?
