Use muenster cheese and brush the bread with olive oil instead of butter. Sprinkle dried sundried-tomatoes over the cheese before cooking. This is gourmet grilled cheese. You can also make it on french, italian, or ciabatta bread to give it more flavors.

I am also a grilled cheese fan nothing is better on a drizzly day with hot tomato soup. Nothing is better. Did you know if you run out of butter and really need a sandwich fix you can substitute the butter for mayonnaise.

A normal grilled cheese sandwich has too much Bread. I believe in Open Faced Grilled Cheese on one slice of Bread only. I toast one slice in the electric toaster - add the toppings and finish in my Infra-Red
counter top Broiler. Eat it with a knife and fork.

Butter the bread on the sides that will touch the grill and sprinkle Cavender's Greek Seasoning on the buttered side of the bread before you grill it. This is the best grilled cheese you will ever have.

GRILLED CHEESE, PICKLE AND TOMATO
SANDWICH

1. Spread butter on one side each of 2 slices of bread.

2. Place 1 piece of American cheese on a non-buttered side of bread.

3. Place tomato slices on top of the cheese.

4. Lay thin slices of dill pickle on top of tomato slices.

5. Put other slice of bread, butter side up, on top.

6. Fry in a pan until both sides are nicely browned.

7. Tastes delicious!

you can only have grilled cheese sandwiches when they are served with tomato soup. YUM, perfect lunch for any day!

white bread, mayo, and velveeta cheese. put a slice of butter into a pan. cook the bread on low heat, so 1) it wont burn the bread and 2) the cheese gets to melt. add a little mayo to another slice of bread and warm the whole thing in a toaster oven.
