I was going to give you a stupid joke answer, like "the coastal plains", but since you're on a deadline I would say consult your wikipedia if you have one. I know that there are some beautiful marshlands/wetlands in the Houston area that are famous for birdwatching, etc......I think this area is considered the coastal plain.
So my suggestion would be investigate wildlife sanctuaries in the Port Arthur/Galveston area. Good luck!
