i need an interpretation of this qoute...like whether you agree with it and what it means to you.

You can be physically attacked and/or mentally tortured but NO ONE can beat or belittle your basic worth out of you, it is so intrinsically yours.
A variation on this is a quote from Eleanor Roosevelt: "Nobody can make you feel inferior without your consent."

Another interpretation: "Sticks and stones may break my bones but words can never hurt me." Just don't take stock in what people do while trying to hurt your dignity. When you believe/succumb to them is when you will lose it.

I think Its about self respect or belief in ones ability or holding ones head high in worst circumstances. ANY WAY EASILY SAID THAN DONE
