yeah i have body fat in my chest and i was gong to build more muscles over it and the problem is am i doing the right thing by doing this,dont i need to burn more fat before doing so

If you combine cardio and resistance exercises (like pushups) in one workout, then you will lose fat and build muscle in that area. To get rid of extra fat in your chest you should do some kind of cardio for a few minutes ( like jumping jacks or running) and then do a set of pushups, and go back to cardio, and repeat this cycle for 30 or 40 minutes.

For faster fat burning during weight lifting, do more reps at lighter weights. To add bulk, do fewer reps at heavier weights. For your chest, do presses, but also do butterflys. The longer reps w/lighter weights will build strength rapidly, and make the muscle much more dense: pushes the fat out…

by doin chest workouts you are already burning fat. so the answer is no you can start doing bench pressing even if u have fat in your chest.
