Statistics say they do indeed. However, men usually find it much harder to admit that they have an emotional problem, so maybe there are lots of men walking around with a depression without even knowing.

I really do not know why, but i think that other person is right it is hard fora man to express his feelings sometimes i guess.

not necessarily, it's true, statistics do show more women see psychiatrists and counselors and take medication. and i guess we do have more reasons to get depressed, i.e. post-abortion trauma, miscarriages and baby blue syndrome and not to mention pms. so yeah, i guess we do suffer more but not i think alot more. men suffer also they just don't look for help so they're numbers are underreported.

yes but traditionaly womans emotinal quotient is very high .
they are able to deal with many situations - like taking care of family work ...and yet have minimal troubles
its a general opinion

I personally think they are probably equal in comparison.Men probably resort to more destructive ways to cope with depression than do women.(IE.) domestic abuse, drugs, alcohol use etc.
