Cloning is highly ethical. It's one of the most ethical procedures I know of.
I cannot even tell you how ethical cloning is, but it is so ethical it should be practiced in all advanced countries. Just consider the benefits. Good people could be cloned, and that would increase the number of good people.
But no, to answer your question, it is not possible for a person to clone himself. It's way too complicated okay.
In the future cloning will be the accepted method for advancing the cause of goodness.

Well, yes and no from my own perspective.
Yes for the fact it would be a great useful tool to wipe out organ donor lists and save lives if one could clone their own organ for transplant.
No, in the fact that to clone a complete human being could lead to too many abuses of the technology. I don't see a real need for full human cloning.

The jury is still out on that quesiton. Cloning has not been all that effective .. most of the cloned animals have had a very short live span. I know that I would not want to be cloned. Good Luck ! :)

I want to clone myself too. I've thought about it for quite some time. I even have a zip-lick bag with hair samples I made as a teen, just in case I died. So, I could be cloned. LOL

Are you finally agreeing that INTELLEGENT DESIGN is real!
If so, I'm for it. It's got my vote if you agree that this is, indeed, a definition of INTELLGENT DESIGN.
It takes skill level to clone
It takes technical proficieny to clone
Do it wrong and you have problems
Therefore it is definately INTELLEGENT DESIGN
Man becomes God
Will your clone worship the doctors and nurses and write books about them!
Darwin the Clone
Has a nice ring to it!
