It seems that powerful lawmakers are trying to get satellite radio banned basically. They are trying to pass bills to prevent portable satellite radio.
Shouldn't congress worry about illegal immigration, Iraqi war, islamic facism, etc..? but instead they choose to go after satellite radio.. riiight

so anyways, is anyone else supporting them? I sent emails and called politicians.
you can send a few emails here:

Illegal immigrants (and satellite radio companies) are not donating the vast amounts of money to legislators as the huge media conglomerates do, simple math.

Ok... read what the ban is about before you go off the deep end....

1.) It's the record companies that have brought suit against XM Satellite only (Sirius is not involved, XM's biggest satellite competitor) not the politicians.
2.) It's in no way against the use of satellite radio as a medium; it's against the use of recording devices that XM has recently introduced.

Also, with XMs track record, they're in enough trouble with their stock holders. I'll keep to Sirius, thanks.
