I understand your dilemma. My youngest nephew was born one month premature and he immediately caught pneumonia, and spent 14 days in the hospital. But thanks to God Almighty he fully recovered and is a strong, sports enthusiast who never slows down. I pray for your great nephew right now.
Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus and by his blood I pray for this new creation of your. I pray Father that you heal him completely, that you give him a strong set of lungs so that he can grow up normal and healthy and lead the kind of active life that you intend that all of your children lead. You father are the great healer and your Son Jesus sheds his love upon all the children. I pray that you will return this young man to his family in perfect health. Amen.

No, I won't pray. That's because prayer doesn't do anything. I do hope things work out for you, but there's not much I can do from this end. It's in his doctor's hands.
So, how's that supposed to work anyway? If you get enough people to pray, you get a miracle? Or is it that you think your god isn't paying attention and needs to be reminded more? And are you asking him to change his "perfect plan" or just telling him to do what he's going to do anyway? In either case, why?
If you really want to help your nephew, try spending some time with his real parents instead of your imaginary god. I'm sure they are going through a lot right now. They would probably appreciate your help, if any is needed. It sounds, though, like people are doing the best they can do and you'll just have to wait and see.
I'll wish you luck, if that makes yoiu feel better.

No offense, but the doctors are more likely to cure him than prayer is.
Recent studies found that those prayed for (in an open heart surgery envioronment) actually experienced HIGHER instances of complications than those not prayed for.... So, pray actually has a negative affect on those that beleive in it!

I will pray He delivers your g.nephew like He did my own nephew...they gave him a 5% chance of living...let alone ever walking again....that was just before Easter. Not only is he walking, but now is a proud daddy...God listens, don't give up. His will be done!

God we bring this little baby before you. We want to pray for health and healing in this little one. I pray you send down your healing like the angel that stirred the waters at the pool of Bethesda, we know Jesus died on the cross so that we may have healing promises. We look to the promises of God and not the problem and we thank you that you sent forth your word and healed them all...not just some but all..Thank you lord for your healing and by His stripes this little baby is healed in Jesus name. amen

Lord Jesus, I pray for the healing of this little boy. Please heal the infection in his lungs. You are the one who gave this precious baby life and we thank You for that. Please guide the baby as he grows up to one day serve you. In Jesus Holy Name, Amen.

Heavenly Father, we know that all things great and small are yours. We beg your mercy for this child, that he would live to glorify your name. Lord, give comfort to this family who ask your hand be greatly upon this beloved one. Lord, we ask that your will be done. We know that you have counted the hairs of this child's head, that you knew him before time, and that you take care even of the sparrow. We know that your love for this child is great and unfathomable. Lord, we ask, in the name of Jesus Christ, our Savior, that his child's life glorify your name with abundant life. And with this child, let his sister prosper. Amen and Amen
