The one that Jesus spoke about at Matthew 12:31?

I was wondering this for years because some preachers teach that you can be forgiven for the unforgivable sin..To me that is a non sequiter.I Love Jesus and the Holy Ghost very much.

31: Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.

Notice he says all manner of blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men with the exception of blasphemy of the Holy Spirit.

Many claim that blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is to reject supposed miracles by some who claim to be modern day prophets and apostles. You have seen them on TV, supposedly claiming healing and such things as "slain in the spirit", "speaking in tongues" etc. These people use this passage to strike fear into people so they can manipulate and extract money from the flock.

However, when this is read in the context, Jesus was making reference to those who claimed that He performed healing and miracles by the power of Bellzebub. In essence they were saying that He was not the Son of God and thereby were blaspheming the Holy Spirit who witnessed that Jesus is the Son of God.

Nobody today can commit the unpardonable sin of the Holy Spirit until they had already died because they rejected the only provision for the forgiveness of sin and the way to eternal life through Jesus Christ.

Naturally that sin is unpardonable if they die without confessing Jesus as Lord.

The Bible says that the Unforgivable Sin is blaspheming against the Holy Spirit. One can commit the Unforgivable Sin by speaking against the Holy Spirit.

Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit can only be commited a couple of ways...

1) By giving praise to evil for the blessings of God.

2) By denying the sacrafice of Jesus Christ till the death. By doing this you are basically stateing that his sacrafice was not sufficient it was not good enough to save you. And when you die without Christ.... you dont get a chance to accept him in heaven... it must be done while you live... once your dead .. that denial (blashphemy) will not be forgiven.

Rejection of God and repentance of wrong doing, which is to say you need to turn over a new leaf, rather than the mystical going to confession, and receiving of Holy Communion, which incidentally is linked to pagan beliefs and practices before the time of Christ.
