No she will not get her period. Some of the other answers have given somewhat incorrect information, though. Animals are no more likely to get fat if they are spayed or neutered than if they are intact. Either way, you will need to make sure you are not overfeeding your dog and you are giving her a healthy diet and not too many snacks. At a minimum, you will want to feed something like Iams, Purina, or Science Diet. There are less expensive foods available, but they are about the equivalent of feeding McDonald's to your kid at every meal. Also, lower quality foods have a lot of undigestible fillers, meaning you will be cleaning up a lot more poop.

When a dog is spayed the uterus and ovaries are removed. Unless a small amount of tissue is left by mistake a dog WILL NOT have another heat cycle

No another plus for spaying no more blood to clean up.

Watch her weight though you might want to switch her to a low cal version of the food shes eating already after spaying.

No. When a female dog or cat is spayed they do a hysterectomy and remove the uterus.

Thus no more periods.

there will be no menstruation for your dog. but you have to give it a good diet. Because dogs that are spayed and on an unhealthy diet will have something called "kidney stones. "
