If you believe in god, didn't god make me this way? Doesn't god make me so horny? Sex makes me and my partners feel good and close to each other. Why do religious people want me to feel guilty for it? And why do they think its better to not enjoy it also?

Smilycat, you say Its biologically danrous, isn't it also biologically dangerous to shake someone's hand, or to just talk with them in person? You can catch lots of diseases that way. And we know how to avoid getting pregnant. Anyway, whats wrong with oral?

J20, your murder analogy fails because I don't hurt anyone by having sex with them, they enjoy it. If there is a devil, didn't god make him? I know no one can make me feel guilty, and I don't, but people do try to.

Christian's definition of promiscuity: anyone that has had more sex than them.

Definition of Christianity:
The haunting feeling that someone, somewhere might be happy and the uncontrollable urge to put an immediate stop to it.

No one can make you feel guilty for anything you do; that is an internal feeling that you get based on what you consider to be right or wrong. If you feel guilty for doing something, then at some level you consider what you have done to be wrong.

Promiscuity is sexual immorality, according to the Bible. Also, according to the Bible, sexual immorality is wrong.

God did not create you to be sexually immoral. God created you to have a choice to do what is right or what is wrong. We have already discussed what is wrong. What is right is sex in the context of marriage between one man and one woman. Anything outside of that is sexual immorality.

I will not judge you or anyone else for their actions; that is beyond what I have the authority to do. God will judge. I can only say what my opinion is based on my understanding of God's word. I cannot make you feel guilty, like I said before, but I hope that you do so that your behavior will change. One day you will realize that promiscuous sexuality does not make you any closer to anyone, rather it drives you away from that one person that you may in the future want to share your life with. If you are ever married, your sexual promiscuity will come back and haunt you. I know.

Thank God for Mencken. The real god, not the fake one in the sky. The one that posted above.

They want you to feel bad so that you will go to church. Everyone likes sex, so it is one of the better tools. They can also use it to make you have new church members you will call "children"

You are saying God makes you feel like that that is why you are promiscous. By your reasoning then even a murderer is not guilty. I think you maybe it just slipped your mind hehe but there is a devil also!! :)

I'm a Christian...sex is so beautiful, and so powerful, that I don't want to disrespect it or myself by giving it away to everyone that just wants it. It is an intensely personal sharing of who and what I am...

The most intense, satisfying and spiritual sexual experiences I've had have been with the woman I married. You notice that this was stated in the plural, yet was with one woman.

There is nothing wrong with having sex, and enjoying it, as long as it is within the confines of marriage just like God has ordained it.

Its biologically dangerous. More partnters means more risk of exposure to diseases. Also means more risk of having a baby that you don't know the father of. But to you your life, and to me mine. I do not hold promiscuity against a person, but I will not hesitate to tell them that it is morally wrong in my understanding.

You don't seek a true answer. You just want to do whatever you wish without anyone saying anything. If you feel guilty, it is because you know you're wrong.

No, God gave everyone free will. So if you're acting like an idiot, it's your choice to change. Read the bible or at least go to a bible study class.
