We are not opening anyones eyes here, they will not listen, God said to shake the very dust off of your shoes, if they will not listen, they only want to try and upset you, an make God a lie, which they cannot do. SO I say we stick together, do not answer silly questions,Give no place for the devil. tell satan to get behind you, where he should be anyways. Help true seekers, with honest answers. Will you help with those that truly seek God?

I wasent talking about not answering the questions that seemed silly, but those that were only putting down Christians, because no matter what you say to them they will not listen, they only try harder to make you mad or upset.

that has been my view- don't cast your pearls to swine where they will be trampled. there are those here truly seeking and asking while many sit here and argue fruitlessly with those that are here only to mock. Jesus would not lower himself to that level and neither should we

i totally agree- i avoid this sometimes cause i don't like seeing how people answer people who are teasing them- though Jesus could respond to anything the right way, we can't- sometimes we just need to keep our mouths shut- i think if we can answer it fully, then go ahead, but don't lead them on anymore- if it's a good question, also answer it for those seekers who may look into that, but don't rely on that- i'm not sure how many people actually go through just to read it like that- also, we need to keep in mind that this is NOT a place specific to Christianity and we need to respect all other religions as well- give truth, but don't put people down- that's not the Christian way- let us show them God's love by loving them ourselves- they will know we are Christians by our love- that's number one- the bible tells us that sometimes we just need to stay quiet- show God's love instead of saying it- we don't need to stay here, show His love in other catagories too! it should be shown in everyday life, not just when we want to....

I so agree with you.
Also, there are those who post questions on here that attack Christianity and other religions just to get a reaction.
I try to answer those as logically and factually as I am able to and if it is an abusive question (or answer) then I report it.
Yes, we do need to dust of our shoes but we also need to uphold our faith against those who attack God and us and who choose to be anti-christs.

Yeah! Do not answer silly questions... questions like, "How could human population have started out with only two people, because that's impossible?" or "How is it possible that there was a completely global flood?" or "How is it possible that the world is only several thousands of years old?" or "How can you possibly be so sure that your God is the real God, when there are thousands of different religions and no scientific evidence supporting any of them?" or "Why is there so little extra-Biblical evidence for Jesus and his miracles?" or...... *is dragged away before he can give the non-Christian masses any more ideas*

It always seems hard to talk with people who do not seem to understand but the fact that they still question, gives hope that one day that seed will grow. Better to answer questions, silly or not, than to not anwer at all. Do you not remember when we were lost?

I agree. I posted a question a few weeks ago about my Christian band and all I got was responses from people ridiculing my music. I bit my tongue and kept quiet but it wasn't easy. I saw no need in fueling their fire.
