I know it's wrong and everything, but I really do hate my family.

It's mainly because they treat me and my brother completley different, but they don't see this and when I try to tell them they don't listen because they don't wanna see it.
It'd be different if I only hated them once in a while but I hate them 99% of the time.

Like today we were at the mall and my brother was getting an expensive shirt and stuff for homecoming and I wasn't getting anything because I'm not going to homecoming and I wanted a book and my parents acted like a book was so much money and everything. So I get a book and they go and buy him 2 books with like pictures of cars in it and his books cost like twice as much as mine but that was all ok and it was a big deal that I wanted my book.

I'm waiting until I can get out of the house and go to college just a year and a half left. I'm planning on getting a job soon so I can be out of the house more often then I'll have money to go out with friends and do stuff just so I can be away from everyone in my family.

im 14 but im like that towards my dads' side of family but it's not haterd because that's a bad thing but i dislike them lets just say that but when i was 13 i went through and emotinal ordeal and i forgave them i dont talk to them but i forgave them so forgive them not for them but for yourself that what u should do it's not okay to hate them but u can dislike them but please for your ownsake forgive them

I know the feeling of hating your family as a lot of people have been so some times. Parents are not prefect and you one day may become a parent so you have to be careful of not doing some thing your Kids will do you as well.
Parents have the responsibility of paying the bills, putting clothes on your back, the food on the table and a host of things too numerous to mention. It is best to have some activity to do to get rid of that feeling and best of all to Pray to God to take that hatred away from you.
I don't know your particular situation at hand and hope may be some thing i have written can help you out. If it has been then it was a pleasure .

We are able to pick our friends but not our family. I'm sorry that you are having these feelings. Sometimes the people that disappoint us the most are the people we care about the most. We have higher expectations of our family than others and typically we judge them harder.

i know how you feel... but i get over it because i always know that in a couple of years, i'll be out of the house and into a college with more independence.

You should talk to them and ask them why the treat you and your brother differently. IF they can't help you do talk to someone who can...maybe someone at school for counseling

i don't think you hate your family; i just think that you don't like your family for the time being. count your blessings though, because hundreds of thousands of people wish they had families.

Count yourself lucky that you have a family!!! I have got my partner and my kids,that's it.Appreciate them.
