Have her spayed. It will save you a lifetime of troubles in the future. Unspayed female dogs are more susceptible to infections because of their progesterone levels staying high for so long!

I don't know if they do this yet, or not, but if they do, I'd advise against it--years ago the veterinarian gave my German Shepherd a "sterility shot" and a few years later she died of cancer from it. I have spayed since that time.

i have a female chi she is exactly 10 months old, definitly have her spayed. has she started her period yet? keep her from going outside. at the time odf her cycle she will wander. my chi is 6 pds.

You can do one of two things.
1. have your doq fixed ( no longer to produce babies)
2. keep your dog in the house and away from male dogs

two things you can do is 1 take her to Vet and have her fixed since she is old enough or if you dont like that idea i would just confine her by herself when she is in heat and dont let her around any males

Take her to the vet quickly to get her neutered/spay so she doesn't have babies

you need to get her spayed. 10 months is old enouph for her to get spayed

Separate her from the male dog if you have one, or get her spayed...

Have her fixed by a vet. You might even be able to get a voucher for having it done cheeper check with your local shelter. Thanks for being a responsible pet owner :-)
