I've heard that heaven will be here on earth. Also the idea of a place made of gold.

I've always thought it would be nice to explore the universe and see first hand what it contains.

What do you think it's like and how would you like it to be like?

When Jesus returns he takes His followers to Heaven where they stay for 1000 yrs. At the end of the 1000 yrs Heaven(New Jerusalem) comes down to Earth and yes you do get to explore the universe.

When Jesus returns, he will transform this present earth back as it were in the Garden of Eden. It will remain that way for the 1 thousand years that he reigns and rules on the earth with the saints.

After the thousand years, he will create a new heaven and a new earth which will even far surpass the restored present earth. He will then lower the new Jerusalem which the bible says will be 1500 miles square and 1500 miles high. This city will be our eternal home where God dwells with man forever more. We are not confined to this beautiful huge city but will be able to travel in and out as we desire.

That is what heaven will be like, we will all be as Adam and Eve were created originally. Also there will be plant life and animal life just as it were in the Garden of Eden but even more beautiful yet. It all sounds pretty exciting and wonderful to me, how about you? :O)

The realm of heaven nearest the material world is much the same as it is here with houses, gardens etc. but the higher realms are shaped by the thoughts and desires of the individual soul. What you want it to be like is what it will be like.
