see..i have a GF from california and i live in northcarolina....and she wants to call me..my mom and her mom dont know about us and were just keepin it a secret...but anyway..if she calls my home phone it will cost her money but will it cost me money for her to call...me??...if it does how much will it charge

No, if you have free incoming calls, but usually on home phones you don't have free incoming calls, you will not be charged for a long distance call but your time on the phone will add to your phone bill.

If you do not have an all-inclusive plan, such as MCI's Neighborhood Plan, it can get very expensive.

Tell your Moms about the relationship, and ask if both of them can get an all-inclusive plan. You'll be able to call each other as often as you want.

Or, both of you get Verizon cell phones and make sure you can talk to other Verizon users for free. This way, you can get a minimal minutes package, but talk to each other all day and night for free.

I see what you mean, what I would do is buy your self a phone card and share with your girlfriend the 800 # and pass word, or just keep it for your self and call her. By using the phone card you would keep it from your mom about the phone bill being so high. Good luck.

Why not sign up for WebPhone or some other PC based phone service? If you both use the same service and communicate PC to PC its all free.

Try Yahoo Messenger for free calling thru your computers. All you need are microphones. Works great and it's free
