ok so i have been getting my ex to talk to me for about 7 mouths and last week she emailed me asking how i was doing and i never wrote her back and then today she called my cell and i didnt pick up im not sure what i should do and what is she thinking why now is she doing this

Talk to her, don't play games with her. Tell her how you feel about what she's doing.

Why don't you have the guts to just talk to her ? It's just an email or the phone .. what can she do ? Good Luck ! :)

If you don't want to talk to her, do as you're doing.....avoid any contact with her. She'll get the hint eventually. But don't go "get her to talk to you" and then blow her off when she wants to talk.....
