Because they either follwo Jesus, or they follow satan.
Satanists hate the truth, and Jesus IS the Truth.

Here we go, one more time...
I don't hate any lord, especially not a man who lived and DIED two thousand years ago. What I hate is the church that was founded out of this man, because it's been manipulating humanity ever since through more or less moral and legal means (ranging from a respectable religious practice, that no one is questioning, to the Inquisition, the Crusades or the Invasion of the Americas). Now, this church is actually indirectly killing people, through the massive prohibition of ALL birth control methods to a society that is NOT about to give up sex. That is what I hate. Not the religious feeling, which I don't have, but I respect. It's the political aspect of the church that I hate.
And why don't I just walk away? Well, simply because this seems to be a place to extend the religious manipulation. And as a responsible member of society, I have the right to resist.

This is the kind of question that just makes my eyes glaze over. I like Christ and his philosophy. I just do care much for Christians. There is a BIG difference between the two. And as far as the religion section goes, there are far more religions than Christianity. Some people in fact think the world would be a better place without organized religion. And I agree with them more and more everyday.

I am sure there are more subject under religion than just Christ and Christianity. Since this is an open message board then I am also at liberty to leave my opinion regarding Christ and Christianity. And just because my opinion may differ from anothers - does not mean that I hate Christ or his name.

I believe that hatred breeds hatred. For instance, if someone says to you, "Jesus hates homosexuals," and you ARE a homosexual, you're not going to feel too good about this Jesus guy who apparently hates you for simply being who you are. When you later realize that Jesus is the central fixture of the Christian blood cult who doesn't actually exist, and that many self-affirmed "Good Christians" use the name of Jesus Christ to project their own bigotry and hatred, it becomes a lot easier to hate the name of Jesus.

I've honestly never met anyone that hates Jesus. Not that I know of, at least. I'll admit I poke fun at him sometimes just to piss you people off though. He's dead, he doesn't mind.
*EDIT* I can't help it that most Christians at YA have no sense of humor. I bet ol' Jesus probably cracked a joke or two at the gods of the Romans. Or wait, I forgot, you guys think he just floated around all day, glowing softly, and saying inspirational things. I refuse to believe any human being (or god) could be THAT boring. *EDIT*

Possibly because more people have died in the name of Jesus Christ than any other.

Seems to me that Jesus Christ is Someone you just cannot be ambivalent about. Once you have heard of Him, you either love Him with all your heart, mind, and strength, or you are inspired to fight against Him, ditto.
As for me and my house, we shall serve the Lord.....
