Do you think love is actually a by-product of timing? Can we all assume if we had met person A instead of person B first that person A would be considered the "true love"? I find this to be very interesting. Have you ever been on a relationship and something better has came along? How did you feel about it and what choices did you make?

I believe it takes a balance of both. Even if you truly love someone, either you or her/him may not be ready for serious commitment. Perfect timing, on the other hand, apart from love is no better than an East Asian arranged marriage!!

It is a timming thing. I have always finaly just given up and took the best of the bunch and then there she is the one I really wanted is now free. And the bad thing is if you would have waited a little longer this really would have worked out. But now you are already stuck in a hookup and can't leave it because you would feel like a jerk inside but still yet you wish you could.

Yes it is timming. I picked the woman I am with now because she is a nice person and not too bad looking. She is a little older then I am about 8 years but she did not have any kids controlling her life and she did not already have everything. I found a guy gets kicked out on the streets when the woman owns the house and he looses all with no where to go. But when both buy a home you have a leg to stand on. But the only problem now is I am not intrested in her for sex in no way at all. I have been able to put her off for that for over a year now. Maybe it is time to move on but she has done nothing wrong and owns half of my home but we are not married.

So I guess being secure in life is what we both want and need so we will stay together even if that girl that I always wanted is out there waiting on me or not.. Is a shame.

Well You can't control timing or love. I think and have experienced that I have met a great love while dating someone else...also I made sure to keep true to the current relationship and remain friends with the other person. You can not interfere with someone's relationship and you have to allow time to run its corse and allow that relationship to end for its own reasons and not because of you interferring.

If it is true and you are destine then it will come back to you.

I try to follow the above rules because I would hate myself more for choosing to be reckless and destroying the other person's relationship because you are not only breaking up the guy or gal you like..you are changing the life of the person they are also invovled with.

Its not all about you even though you would like to be more than anything.

Timing is definitely a part of it, but compatibility is far more important. Of course, we aren't looking for compatible matches when we aren't "hungry" for something new.
Yes, I have been in a relationship when something great would come along, but how would I know if it was better unless I pursued it? Always, unless I was really unhappy, I just turned the other cheek because a respectable man doesn't pursue another woman while he's in a relationship.

Everything is timing. The right person can be around .. but if you don't meet them in time .. someone else will. You can certainly fall in love with more than one person on this earth .. even in just the USA. So it always depends on the timing of when you meet that person. Good Luck ! :)

I think it's possible that you can have more than 1 true love, but those who meet more than one true love can have some relationship problems and grow up with cats or something...don't ask.

Timing is very relevant in love. But I'm a firm believer that it can only prove love even more especially when the time wasn't right.

I've been thinking about that question. I want a relationship, but I don't want to settle for something less when something better is around the corner.

It's many things I believe, timing is one of them. Something as complicated as true love has many facets like a pure diamond!
