Sky boxes are " Paired " with each individual card, to use two boxes you will need to have a new " LNB " fitted to your dish.....a Dual LNB, which gives you 2 seperate signals......and it will cost you an extra £10 per month, if you have SKY + downstairs, there are no Clone cards at all, the system Sky use change the codes quite frequently, go to www.digitalspy.co.uk

When you configure the sky box your card "marries" with the box... it'll then only work with the new box... if you take a multiroom subscription you get a second card. (£10 per month) but it will still marry the box you configure with it, so it's ten pound per room, or take your sky box from room to room.... i have two spare boxes if you want one.. was going to put one in each bedroom untill i realised the "tie"

you need another subscription, hence another card, you could always use the card from downstairs when you are upstairs which would save you money, i think it works, i know it has before, but sky dont appreciate it that, but if more then one person wants to watch at the same time you either need a multiroom subcription or just get another subscription at the basic price? you cant get a copy, I thought you can, which would be idealistic as it would save a lot of money but sky are sly.

check this link out, hope it will be of some help.

unlucky 1card 1 box 1 subscription - according to sky

Try running a cable from your existing box into the bedroom and using one of those works through walls remote recievers that you plug into the wall in 2 places and it sends the signal to your sky box from the bedroom.

We use a mouse upstairs which we bought from sky and got a seperate remote, but it does only allow us to watch the same channel upstairs as downstairs.

as a fashion to apply your boyfriends card on your Sky+ HD receiver, you will would desire to ask Sky in the event that they are able to re-authorise your boyfriends card at the same time because it is on your Sky + HD receiver. they'll require countless information alongside with the cardboard quantity, receiver version ,serial quantity and positioned up code.
