The Costa Rica currency is called the colón.
As of MARKET CLOSE on Friday, Saturday 22, the exchange rate is:
1 US dollar = 540.18 Costa Rica colón (CRC)
The colón was named after Christopher Columbus, known as Cristóbal Colón in Spanish.
