alright, to start it off, i had my navel pierce about 10-11 days ago. Initially, it was excellent, no redness and no swelling, nothing. however i notice my top ball area is bit red this few days. It's not painful and not puss whatsoever. It's painful when i accidentally brush onto it....
is this normal? is it rejecting? oh gawd pls not rejecting cause I love it to bits..

thanks

p/s - i use antiseptic cream cause thats what my piercee recommend...in my country, seldom ppl use sea salt cause mainly it's really hard to get. most ppl either use antiseptic cream or saline solution

I loved mine so much that the first time it was rejected, I waited a couple years, and got it done again. That one grew out too. It was being pushed out like a splinter. Now I have a huge scar, and there is a bit of an infected sack of fluid above my belly button. It's ugly and gross, and I can't do anything about it. I'll probably get a tatoo around it to disguise the yuck. But if you are experiencing a problem, ALWAYS go back to the place that pierced it in the first place to let them know of any complications. They generally have the right advice for you. Don't take it out yourself. Let them do it.... if they need to.

It could be a staph infection. Have your dr check it out. They can give you an antibiotic to apply with a cotton swab if that's the case. Make sure you're washing your hands before and after touching the area. Wearing low cut jeans helps also. (I can't wear the jeans that go over the navel or it gets irritated)

All piercings are rejected by the body. Give it time and it will heal. My piercer says to use just plain water and to rotate the piercing. Keep it clean and don't let anything snag it. Good luck.

its probably just a little infection because you just got it. My friend had the same thing, but it passed and she still has hers pierced. Its perfectly fine now.

Get rid of it. Those things are tacky anyway.

And everyone has them so it like a uniform.

Be different and let your belly button go naked!
