Every single thing that any person can think of has been denied someone at some point in time. People will say "God is always there" and this may or may not be true, but they forget the story of Job. According to that story, God was with Job, but what benefit was it during his suffering? He was offered no comfort.
There are many things I would not want to live without, the first of which is Love, but I can't think of anything besides food, water, and air, that it is impossible to live without.
