I'm going to focus on the 2nd question you ask.
The video is AMAZING!!!
I love AFI and have been a fan for 7 years. They never fail to amaze me and are the nicest guys in the world. They have saved me so many times. And I must agree, just because people wear black doesn't mean they are gothic. I wear black lots, but I'm a happy, open-minded person and I have friends who are able to accept and understand me. If those people don't exist around you, then find new friends. And yeah, everyone has something to say and EVERYONE has a chance to be heard. No one should ever be ignored because of how they look or dress.
K I'm done preaching.
But yeah, AFI FOR LIFE.

Yes people can shake the world. We've been doing it for centuries. Because you're Goth doesn't exclude you from being a contibuting person to the world. You are here aren't you? Make the best of it.

Whenever a goth kid says "people don't understand me!", what they really mean is "people understand me too well and see right through my self-absorbed faux-nihilistic posturing and are refusing to cater to my attention-seeking belief that my self-inflicted angst has some deep and significant meaning"
Hate to burst your bubble, but you aren't going to shake the world while hanging out at the mall, no matter how cool you look.

I am sorry that you are misunderstood, but i don't know how you can shake the world. I see goth kids purposelessly hanging out in the Mall all the time, have nothing against them.
Also, I don't see anything special about goths!

No unfortunately you won't be able to until you are all like 55 cuz all the politians who have any pull are all really old!
So I hope all you "goths" plan to stay the same until you are senior citizens.
If so then good luck! More power to ya!!

I agree that someone shouldn't be judged just because their a goth kid. There are some places where I think it is inappropriate to dress goth and that includes church.

I'm not really sure if they are or not because I have not talked to many goth people. If they respect me they will be respected in teturn.

haha. i guess i would be considered goth. i mean, most people say i am. and i'm pretty sure my health teacher thinks i'm suicidal. according to him "kids who wear black are more likely to be depressed." it's funny because when he sees me in the hall he will say stuff like "where's your smile, rachel?" just to make sure i'm not in (what he would call) a slit-my-wrists kind of mood. so, yeah i do think we are missunderstood.
