I have this guy friend and I really like him. The problem is he is one of my better guy friends. I don't want to ruin my relationship with him, but I don't want to just be friends either. I think he likes me too. I flirting with him and he usually flirts back, we always sit together at lunch and yesterday he sat down next to me with his entire side touching mine. Does he like me back? What should I do?

This is a common situation, and I think it's a pity that a lot of potentially really great relationships are never given a chance because both people are to afraid to "ruin the relationship". You'll regret it if you don't do SOMETHING! I am a guy, and I have gone out with friends before, and then if it didn't work out, we went back to being friends (though I understand this doesn't always work out). I personally think that you should just be like "I kind of think I might like you more than just a friend. Want to go out sometime?" and I almost GUARANTEE you, that he will be like, yeah ok. I bet he's thinking the same things, if he's like touching you and stuff. And worst case is that he says no. That won't ruin the friendship, unless it's a weak friendship to begin with. Just my opinion

i am going through the same problem, instead im the guy, and i like the girl, however she really likes me as a friend and wants to move on from there but not ruin the friendship either. And to be honest with you, being the guy, im going crazy because i can't tell what she wants, and it just confuses me. It's hard to be around a girl you like and seeing her with perhaps another person. So if you like him pursue him, or else it might be too late, and he might leave you because he knows he might get hurt being your friend and he sees you with someone else if he likes you. And once he leaves, you'll regret it.

I warn you to be very careful, he may like you back yes, thats a good possibility, but what i warn you of is the possibility of a break up. I lost one of my best guy friends EVER because we dated. We don't even say hi anymore and it hurts so bad to look back and say omg did i really loose him?... I mean every couple is different so i don't wanna discourage you, but just a warning....But as to your answer...The only way you'll know whats going on is to ask him. He maybe shy and can't bring it up himself thats y you gotta be strong...Ask him kinda in an oddball way to break the ice and to make it less awkward. if he responds awkwardly like he's hidding something, he mostlikely does...
Good Luck

I think he might. Ask him out. If he doen't like you, he should still be your friend. If he isn't, then he wasn't worth your friendship anyway. But you have to ask, you migh be wondering what could have been 15 years from now.

There is a saying that once you sleep with someone, you put your friendship to bed.

Friends are enduring - lovers aren't.
