I'm sure your mom's death had some negative effects on you & I would suggest you talk to a psychologist because they may be deeper than you think & may require someone else's help in order to see them clearly.

Poor baby....you probably have come from a very disfunctional family...some times parents as much as they love their children actually think that they are doing the kids a favor to leave their life...I feel that your mom loved you dearly...and you have been deeply wounded by this..you also might just be shy...not everyone has to be extroverted.....but talk to a school councelor and let them know your concerns...as you want to have a successful life and be happy...My prayers are with you little love xo

It might have. But alot of personality traits are predetermened at conception so don't blame anyone. I also have social phobia but my mother is alive and well! Whatever way you look at it, it's nobody's fault!

Most likely. Abandonment causes a lot of psycologial issues, especially when is abusive. Try to get some therapy or talk to someone.

It probably influences who you are in many ways. Abandonment works like that and can be very difficult to figure out on your own. A good therapist might be able to help you understand yourself better and get beyond your fears.
