for the last few weeks i have been having all of the signs of pregnancy i am now 4 weeks late. i just did a test from the pound shop answer was neg.. i have been told in the past they all come up this way even is u r preg does any1 know anything about this????

No, they don't all come up neg. It depends on the sensitivity of the test. If it comes up negative, it could be positive and if it comes up pos , it is definatly pos ! If you really don't want to go to your gp where the test is free, I would invest in one of the newer tests just to put your mind at rest one way or the other. There is one now that doesnt even have the blue line, just says pos or neg ! GOOD LUCK ANYWAY!

ive used the ones from the pound shop when i was 4 weeks late and it showed a very faint line which was positive a week later i did another 1 and the line was stronger so yes they do work providing you use them at the right time

It is possible for a test to come back negative even if you are. Get an appointment down the doctors asap. Get them to do a blood test and this will tell you for sure. Good Luck.

mine cost a pound and it worked and i know other people its worked for. You could do with getting another one and doing the test in the morning when you first need a wee, thats when your HCG ( i think thats what their called) levels are at their highest. We did two other tests as well coz we were thinking that maybe it wouldn't work coz it was cheap but they all said positive.

I did one on sunday and it was a pound shop double pack so i was a bit dubious but it came up positive and i also did a boots one and the was positive too you should get a more expensive one to put your mind at rest or go to your doctor and let them examine you

i had a hard time gettin pregnant and i used tests from cheaper shops when i did find out i was pregnant and they all worked for me. so i would say they do work, try using it first thing in the morning they say thats the best time for some strange reason.

Yes Sarah is right. They are all the same, whether you get it cheaper from a pound shop or at a higher price from boots. They work the same.

I would go and buy a proper one from the chemists, i had the opposite experience mine were coming up positive, so i got my husband to do one and guess what Yep he was pregnant to.
I was not pregnant so buy a decent one and know for sure.

Go to a doctor and get a proper test done. If you're not pregnant they might be able to tell you why you're late.
