Has always been kinda high. I used to have several hives and honey collecting is not a pretty sight! It's a lot of work and is extremely sticky!! :) I ended up giving my honey bees to someone else. I gladly pay for that jar of honey now because I know how much work goes into getting it in that jar.

honestly, I dunno...I have seen honey in the grocery stores...but I actually go to a "honey store" to buy my honey lol...maybe you should see if they have one in your area...they are a lot better than the ones in the grocery store, they also have a lot more selections for honey plus they are a lot cheaper...good luck

It's always been high. Because it takes lots & lots of bees to make just a little bit of honey.'

Honey bees have been dying off, scientists can't figure out why...I went to Winco today to grocery shop, almost had a heart attack...$32.50...um, I just kept walking, to steep for me.

it has always been costly but it is the processing the bee keeper has to go thru and the license to have the bees in a certain area..the hive are licensed to be in a rea and that is only where the hives can be placed and if in that area the crops are bad then the beekeeper suffers........
