Like muslims, hindus eat after sun set. But they eat vegetable and grains only. not even eggs. Some fast for 6 days just having fruits and milk in the morning and evening. Nothing else.
Tonight I had rice and lentil curry and pudding.

Ooh, food, my favorite topic! Today, we are eating tabouleh, fried chicken, ma'loubeh, fetat magdoose, and potatoe salad....
*salivates and waits anxiously for half hour left till Iftar*
Oh, and I would seriously kill (okay, maybe not seriously) for some dawally. For all you non-Arabs, its grape leaves stuffed with rice and ground beef and then simmered in bunches of lemon juice and sometimes chicken or lamb for about 4-5 hours. A complete pain in the neck to make but oh so worth it.
