um... i dont think its an age its just when you complete your other years before highschool. Most people are about 14-15 when they enter Freshman year (9th grade).

I was 13 when I went into high school.
There really is no age limit, it all depends on how mentally capable you are of going into that grade level. There have been rare cases of people graduating high school at 12 or 13 because they are so far advanced for their age.
This is an article about a 12 year old in medical school (already graduated from high school) http://www.cnn.com/2003/EDUCATION/08/25/sprj.sch.wonder.kid.ap/
If your smart enough, you can skip grades.

Agreed no age limit. If you skip grades you can get in real early.
However the typical age varies with school system. In California high school is 9th grade so 15 is usual age.
Some systems high school is 8th grade or even 7th grade. So it would be younger.

My mother graduated highschool at 16... though I think she only spent 3 yrs in it.
I was friends with a girl who was a Junior in College at age 13. She started highschool at age 9.
There is no age limit to go to high school.

You don't have to be a certain age. I know a boy who skipped two grades so he's 12 in the 9th grade. My cousin was promoted because he was too old to be in middle school so he's 16 in the 9th. Me, I'm an average 14.

as a freshman? well, they are typically 15.
but I know that some adults take high school classes during night school, and i don't think there's an age limit for that.

the youngest you can be is 13-14. Depending on how many times you fail will determine how old you will be.
