I say to kids? When you grow up, Do you think you will be smarter, than you are now. When they say yes. I just say, then why don't you think,I am.

well, alot of kids do think that. I personally never thought my parents were stupid, but we had a very open, trusting relationship. I thought they were unfair sometimes, but not stupid. And I would like to think that my kids feel the same way.

Kids usually do think their parents don't have a clue about anything. But when they are older they will realize their parents knew a whole lot more than they gave them credit for.

These are the reasons:
. Their parents keep them away from something that they want
. Their parents don't know how to talk to their kids, like they keep yelling and misunderstanding.
. Their parents don't listen
. Their parents are unfair
I know this because these are what my parents do.

Because usually kids do think their parents are dumb as rocks. I remember thinking the same way about my folks when I was a teen.
