Hi. I no what you are saying. Girls and woman do and can get very de-fensive about the way the partner cummunicate address other woman. Believe me it's just a man thing. He does not realy mean anything by it. I do it all the time. But it's all good natured. If it bothers yoiu that much. Just let your boy freind no. And if he has love and repect for you. He should understand your feeling and if anything. He would not do it in front of you. Take care BABE.

A lot of blokes just call all girls babe or babes, etc etc you shouldn't be worried his up to something unless you have any other evidence to support this.
But if you don't like it tell him and explain why, he should then stop, if he doesn't then it is wrong!

Yes, of course its wrong and you are not comfortable with it otherwise you would not be asking. You are his 'babe' and neither should he call girls 'darlin'. How would he like it if you referred to other guys with the same name you give him. I'd speak to him gently and tell him you don't like it and make sure you have your own special name you call each other. Its not a huge issue though. Good luck with the relationship.

Well if you feel strongly about it, tell him, just tell him that you would love if he only called you babes. But hone sly, it's a guy thing and I don't think he means anything, my girl friends and I call each other babes and hun as well as guys, it's a term endearment .

my boyfriend used to call other girs "hon" and "babe" I remember not liking it much just becuase I wanted him to call me those pet names exclusiveley . As the years have gone by he no longer does it, not sure why I never pulled in up on it!! Perhaps he needs a shorter lead!!

I'd be the same as you if my bf did that, it doesn't mean he is up to anything just tell you feel uncomfortable about it and would he like it if you did it. Nothing to worry about x

if it anoys you hunnie then tell him that it anoys you say "im not being nasty or anything hunni but it anoys me when you call other girls babe" if he does it to every girl dont worry to much just relax he's probably just being friendly.
