that really depends on what kind of charges they were. sometimes if it is dismissed you have to get the papers saying it was dismissed and take those to the police station for them to take it off your record

if you were over 18, probably, but after 6 years you can petition a judge to remove it. He might if you ask real nice, and havn`t had any other problems since.

it will come up but the verdict will also come up. so it will say for instance arrested for assualt and then it will say dismissed or not guilty. if you were not found guilty your fine.
