hey there.
u should be happy 4 him cos he s gettin help. u shouldnt be angry @ him in contrary u should show him that u support him in his descision. isnt that what family and sisters r about, supporting in the most difficult way???!!!!
u must be there for him, dont judge him put ur self in his shoes, c what his feeling, and u r saying that he have kids, well i think that hes thinking about them, he's doin an unselfish step. be there for him and for his family.
u seem 2 be kind and u love ur brother, if not u wont be askin this question, as an aunt explain to ur nephew whats goin on.
tell him :that his dady was sick especially inside thats y like we go to doctors to give us medicaments when we r sick. dady will be back, he ll be better and he needs our support. dady is not sick becos of u, it a wrong descision that he made in his past and now his getting help to walk on de wright way.
as an aunt, he ll hear u more than his mum, cos hes not seeing u fightin with his dady or angry from him 24 hour a day.
u hav a double job: supportin ur bro and his son.
be courage, its time to do ur work. after ur bro get better and clean u can sitt with him and tell him all what u felt b4 (feelin now) in the future u wont be angry as u r now. relax, take everythg slowly hav faith in God.
if u need anythg, im here offering to be a sist, to hear u and try to help u.
good luck

Be supportive, not judgemental. Everybody in this life has their own personal set of problems to deal with. We are ALL the same. He is no worse for being an addict and it is very good that he was able to admit it and ask for help.

I would be happy for him that he had the strength to admit he had a problem and to get help for it.
Some poeple stay in denial for a long time and never get help.
I would be proud of him and support him.

U should be happy that he is getting help. U may feel different emotions initially, but u should recognize he is trying to get better and support him in his decision to help himself

Honestly, it's not about you. If your brother has decided to get help for his problems it does not really matter how you feel about it. Just be supportive of your brother and his family.

Why would you be angry? You should be happy that he's recognized that he has a problem and he's trying to get better.

happy that he's getting help. If he went on his own he is a lot further towards recovery than most people with addiction.
