Cut it first then color.

If your hair is going to be colored and cut during the same appointment, the dyeing is usually done first. This lets the color set and any uneven spots near the ends will be trimmed away during the cut.
However, if you're only getting one done I would go for the cut first, then get it colored when you're ready. A good cut is the most important.

Color first, you're likely to have some burning of the ends, and they will get trimmed off when you cut...no hair color is wasted if you color first, because a bottle of color is mixed up and it either goes on your head, or in the trash anyway (if unused)...

If you cut first, and the coloring causes your hair to dry out, then you're just stuck with the dry frizzy ends, until your next cut....you don't need to wash after a cut anyway (just get any loose hairs off your neck), and generally your stylist will fix it up nice for ya so ya look like a million bucks when you leave the shop :)

Color first, because coloring does some damage to your hair and you will need a cut after. Most salons include a cut in the price of a hair coloring.

If you have a lot of hair and you are planning on cutting a lot off then cut it first. Usually it is color and then cut, but it really doesn't matter.

Go for the color first since, like others have said, coloring can damage the ends.

Get your hair cut first otherwise you are wasting hair dye on hair that is just gonna end up on a hairdressers floor in a week or so.

It makes no sense to do it the other way around.

Go for it :-)

It depends on what you need the worst. Do you need the cut worse or the coloring?

u should color first. it gives the hairstylist more to work with before giving a cut.
