According to early Vedic Hinduism, there were two paths to Salvation.
1. The Karma marg that stated even a man or women who did not believe in God went to heaven if he had performed good deeds and was a good person.
2. The Bhakti marga stated that if a man had his personal path to salvation and aligned his life to whatever divinity he believed in, irrespective of the path, as long as it led him to pious deeds, he would go to heaven.
Thus, whether you were Christian, Jewish, Atheist, Agnostic, Gay, etc, you had your means for personal salvation.
Thus, though I am an agnostic, and sometimes wonder if there is a heaven like place to which we go, if there is one, I believe all people go there irrespective of their beliefs and only on the basis of the content of their lives.
That is just mine. I am interested in knowing, that IF there was a heaven, who do you think would go there? I would assume you would base this on your beliefs.

By many of your answers, it seems that a good person who is not Christian will not go to heaven, solely because he didn't believe in Jesus?

there are so many different ways to get there. we all go from one destination to another by different means. we walk, ride a bike, a motorcycle, take a bus, plane, car, train, etc. yet we all can arrive at the same destination which is the important thing NOT how we get there. GOD is to big to be in just one place.

If you were born again, you are raised to an immortal life to be served in Heaven for 1000 years as an Overseer to those living on Earth. If not, you are raised in the second resurrection to either life or judgment. If to life, you will be spending 1000 years helping to rebuild this old earth back into a paradise, erasing all the symbols of the old system. After that 1000 years, who knows, maybe head out into the Universe to explore and terraform other planets.

ok first off all u seem curious of Heaven...well let me start out with a...fun fact lol... the only 2 people EVER in history who went to Heaven without physically dying were: Enoch and Elijah ( both prophets of the Lord).....now... good deeds are not enough, oh my goodness no, and faith not put into action is dead. You could volunteer and do things like Princess Diana, and if you did not believe in Jesus as Christ, The Lord, and confess unto Him your sins, and to God through Jesus the Lord, then your name will not be written in The Book of Life... i find this terrifying dont you lol..go to the gates of Heaven and wait for Jesus's disciple to find your name in the Book of Life, just hoping and praying that its there lol...i have seen...well things... i duno what it was...pretty sure it was a demon... or so me dark entity.... and Jesus saved me from it when i was like 4-5.... it used to bug all us kids in kindergarden and gr 1 which my sister was in...anyways horrible business, that...but Jesus scard it away... so im not telling u according to my beliefs....im telling u according to what is the plain, hard, beautiful truth sweety..pls take God's Word for it.

Here is what I have learned from my study of the Bible. ONLY those who obey God, keep/do His commandments, and have faith in His Only Begotten Son Jesus the Christ, and study the Word of God, and be filled with the Holy Ghost/Spirit will go to heaven. I know it sounds like a lot but it is not. The hardest and easiest thing to do is to give your will to Jesus. Once you have done that the rest is easy.

I think who ever God wants to go will go. There is nothing we could do here on earth even excepting Jesus that will get any of us a guarantee into heaven. WHo God wants he will put there!

People believe in who they're taught to believe. God won't punish anyone for being raised with a different religion.

Those whose names are in the book of life.
Possibly others without exception. Maybe faithful Jews may also get there or maybe they too must be in the book of life.
