Is'nt God a spirit person?

People who believe in spirits generally believe that should someone die when they are young, have an accident and die, or die a tragic death in general, don't "pass on." They believe that their spirits/ghosts live on to forever haunt the Earth.

While God is technically a spiritual being, He is not actually here on Earth.

Personally, I believe in ghosts; but I don't believe in God. This is common because people who believe in ghosts/spirits recognize that these spirits/ghosts were once people, God has never been a person.

I hope that answers your question.

Possibly, but if you assume that a person needs to believe in God to believe in a spirit world, aren't you working from a basis of preconceived notions about what is and isn't possible? Having only been in this life, I can't necessarily prove God to you (or spirits) but I couldn't say that because there are spirits there has to be a God.....

We all have a spirit within us. God is a spirit, Angels are spirit beings, demons are spirits. Most Christians would believe there are spirits if they believe the Bible.

People believe gods, demons, ghosts, spirits, aliens who like to poke people in the butt, bogeymen, Santa Claus, and all sort of other nonsense.

When you believe in make-believe stuff, it doesn't really require you to believe in other make-believe stuff. People have a near infinite ability to rationalize away reality.

Have you heard of ANY of the other few hundred religions and gods in the world? If you were born in India about 300 years ago, do you think you'd be asking this question? Think about it.

Hope you don't mean spirits of the alcoholic kind - then there wouldn't be any problem.
