Wild Turkey 101. I would prefer barel cut whiskey, not this watered down crap that is only 80 proof or so. 101 isn't quite barrel proof, but it is closer than 80 proof, and it tastes good too. I like Bourbons for the most part as far as types of whiskey go. I also don't trust Jack Daniels because they went from 92 or so proof to 80 proof (a while ago), yet maintain that their recipie hasn't changed in a longer period of time.

I hate to be picky but the question is "favourite whiskey" and whiskey comes from Ireland and so the answer has to be - Jameson's - no question about it.. now if the question was "Favourite Whisky" and as you all know Whisky comes from Scotland.. my answer would have to be... Hmmmm.. let me go and test a few more before I answer that

The Macallan has to be my favourite whisky which is matured in old sherry vats. The 10 yr old is good, the 12 yr old a little smoother and the 18 yr old even more so. The older ones will have to wait for a tasting until I win the lottery!!
