I have found a very nice bakers rack for a good price online. There are two colors I like...copper and pewter. Copper is my favorite but would it look stupid in a kitchen that has no copper in it whatsoever? I'm currently renting a house so it doesn't have to match this kitchen in particular but I would like it to look nice in any kitchen.

Thanks.

well, you dont say what color your kitchen is, but if you love copper, go with it, and just pick a few copper wall pieces or say a colander to carry it thru out the kitchen. i am sure you can find some inexpensive items, maybe at a garage sale or even christmas tree shops, good luck

The pewter one won't tarnish. Copper also reacts to many ingredients in the kitchen like tomato products, vinegar, cream of tarter....so if you splashed anything like that on it you can cause it to discolor. Steam will also cause the copper to tarnish faster. I'd go for the pewter, save yourself a lot, and I do mean a lot, of polishing.
