The Feast of Tabernacles is a 7-day Biblical pilgrimage festival, also known as the Feast of Booths, the Feast of Tabernacles, or Tabernacles. In the 7th day Church of God groups it is one of the most important holy days as it lasts the longest and normally requires a great deal of preparation and travel to be able to attend. This festival is not observed by most mainstream Christian churches. Jews observe the same festival, but refer to it as Sukkot

The Feast of Tabernacles is located in LEV.23:4,34,35.
"These are the feasts of the Lord, even holy convocations, which ye shall proclaim in their seasons. ....The fifteenth day of this seventh month (October) shall be the feast of Tabernacles for seven days unto the Lord. On the first day shall be an holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein."

The Feast of Tabernacles is a 7-day Biblical pilgrimage festival, also known as the Feast of Booths, the Feast of Tabernacles, or Tabernacles. The Feast of Tabernacles is a celebration of the great fall harvest, observed by living in temporary dwellings for the duration of the feast {Lev.23:33-43}.

Jesus kept the Feast of Tabernacles:
JOHN 7:2,10,14 = "Now the Jews' feast of tabernacles was at hand. But when his brethren were gone up, then went he also up unto the feast, not openly, but as it were in secret. Now about the midst of the feast Jesus went up into the temple and taught."

Most don't keep this feast because they think it's done away with, but some religions do because it is commanded of us to do it!

ZECHARIAH 14:1-4 tells us that the Lord will come to gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle. His feet will stand on the mount of Olives.
Now go to ZECHARIAH 16-19 = "And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles. And it shall be, that whoso will not come up of all the families of the earth to Jerusalem to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, even upon them shall be no rain. And if the family of Egypt go not up, and come not, that have no rain; there shall be the plague wherewith the Lord will smite the heathen that come not up to the feast of tabernacles. This shall be the punishment of Egypt, and the punishment of all nations that come not up to the feast of tabernacles."

If you want more information on the Feast of Tabernacles; there is a good explanation in Step 6 "Feast of Tabernacles" in:

Feast of Tabernacles--the first day & 8th day is holy; do worship
Usually you can go to a Motel, seperate dwelling place or tent you can live in during this period. My family do the tent during the feast. We love it because it's a seperate environment where we can get closer to God by reading and studying the Bible. It's really fun because you don't have computers, tv's and etc. boggling your mind. Give it a chance; it's a great experience.
