Most pregnancy tests are accurate after the missed period, but there are a few that are accurate 2 or 3 days before the missed period. The test will probably show up as negative until there is enough of the pregnancy hormone in your bloodstream to register on the test. You could a. buy a pregnancy test that is designed to be used before the missed period, b. wait unti after the missed period to test, or c. go to your local crisis pregnancy center or planned pregnancy center to get advice and a free pregnancy test. Even if the tests are negative, wait two weeks and repeat. Sometimes there is not enough of the pregnancy hormone to tell even after the missed period. If you still haven't got your period after two weeks, go to your doctor and get a blood (serum) pregnancy test done. They are more accurate, and not only tell if you are pregnant or not, but they can tell how much of the pregnancy hormone is in your bloodstream.
Are you trying to get pregnant? If not, you really should look into using condoms, or talk with your doctor to get on birth control.
Hope this helps, and good luck!
P.S. When you take a pregnancy test, always use the urine from the first urination of the morning, right after you wake up. It will be more highly concentrated, and have more of the pregnancy hormone in it, thus being more accurate.

I may have missed something in your question, but one thing I'm wondering is how far apart your periods are normally? If they're exactly 28 days apart, and your last one started on August 28th--then you wouldn't expect it until tomorrow, the 25th of September, yes? So maybe it'll be OK, if your wish is to NOT be pregnant.
Do you usually have PMS? If so--did you feel that way this past week, or was it more like you had a mild case of the flu--queasy, tired, etc.? That might tell you something.
In any case, I hope that this turns out the way that you want. God bless.

I would say that if you had sex, then you have a pretty good chance of being pregnant. that is unless you are like me. I have no chance of it. First because the Pope has a more active sex life than I do, secondly, I'm a guy and can't possibly get pregnant (but if I was, I'd sell tickets and be rich), and thirdly, SNIP, SNIP!
But the best place to ask this is your doctor, not here, so quit wasting your points and ask such questions where they might tell you with a degree of accuracy.
