drinks, movies, walking a few miles together and just simple stuff like that. Then she went to her home town to visit family and was gone for a few weeks. I thought we were basically forming a relationship together but when she came back home she told me she just wants to be friends. I am already romantically attached to her. What should I do?

It sounds like maybe she thought the same thing - that you were both forming a relationship but when she got back she didn't feel the same way anymore. Evidently she doesn't want a romantic relationship, just a friendship relationship so it is up to you if you can accept that. Good Luck!

Ask her to be up front and honest with you.
It sounds like when she was home, maybe she ran into someone? An ex? Or a new guy? Hard to say.
She's trying to do the right thing and break it off with you before she starts seeing someone else.
Just ask her for honesty. But either way, I think it's over.

She told you what she wants, now it's up to you to respect that and back off. Ask her exactly what she means by "friends" and see if she still wants to continue to hang out together. If she does, and you are willing to see if you can rekindle the romantic feelings in her, then keep on seeing her in that vein. If, however, she has feeling sfor another man, then it's time to move on -- c'est la vie.

That sucks...I suggest finding another chick. Once a girl says she just wants to be friends that's usually it, I know bec. I've said the same thing.
