Ginger root. It has also been successful in treating sea sickness.

I had morning sickness so bad that I had to be put on Zofran which is an anti nausea medicine for chemo patients, so it worked really well. But when it started wearing off, the mild nausea was cured with Ritz Crackers. Anything with bland flavors and scents. Remember this rule: If it makes you queasy when you SMELL it, get away from it or don't eat it.

Dry crackers or dry toast. I was still ill all day and the doctor had me take some kind of pills to reduce the nausea. I was dehydrated from the nausea too!

the smell of tangerine oil is supposed to help calm the nausea- I used it and it worked on me- heck it could have all been in my head but I put some on my wrist and when I felt really queasy I would smell it. Can't hurt anyway. Good Luck!!

Emetrol is available over the counter and is good for nausea, but she should ask her doctor first before she takes anything.

When I was in Australia and experienced severe morning sickness, I've been prescribed some Ginger (and B6 vitamins also...). That relieved a little bit...

Your friend could try ginger (gingerroot, ginger tea, organic ginger ale). That always helps me when I get queasy! Drinking chamomile or peppermint tea might help as well.
You can purchase homepathic remedies at your local natural foods store that might help also.
Hope this helps!
