You can get the smell out of the sheets and blankets by soaking them in the washing machine with a cup of Borax for about 30 min. Then washing in detergent as usual. If this doesn't work the first time, repeat it. If it's gone thru to the mattress, too bad, you need to replace it. Animals have a keener sense of smell than we do. Even tho we may think the smell is gone, the animal may still be able to smell it. If they smell their pee, they think it's OK to do it again. I think there is something to keep animals off the furniture, go to a pet store a ask.

You need to use an enzyme cleaner such as Nature's Miracle. You can buy it at a Pet Store. After you clean the mattress and it's dry, put on a moisture-resistant mattress cover. Then if the cat pees on the bed, you only have to wash the bedding.
Also, think about what the cat might be trying to communicate. She might have a urinary tract infection. The vet can check for this. Or she might be mad at you. Has anything changed in your household (new pets or family members)? Are you giving her enough attention?

To get the pee smell out of "anything that can be put in the washer" use 1 cup of white vinegar in the wash cycle. the vinegar neutralizes the urine smell. If the cat has peed on furniture or your mattress wet a cloth and wipe the area,do this a couple of times to remove the urine then in a spray bottle mix equal parts water and white vinegar and spray the area and let air dry! Pet stores carry products that will keep pets off furniture etc. They also have a product called "OUT" it comes in a spray bottle or you can buy bottles in a concentrate and mix it yourself. Follow the directions. It removes the stain, smell and sanitizes!

I just recommended "Nature's Miracle" to someone else. It's the best stuff out there! (I've used it many times) Spray the stuff on your matress and your sheets. Be generous and let it sit, so it really penentrates thru all the cat pee. It's awsome stuff and should take of your problem.
You can get it at pet stores like PetSmart and PetCo and other places. Under $10 for the bigger bottle.

I love cats, but one that pees on the bed has some serious problems and doesn't deserve the luxury of coming inside.
As to the smell, I think you need to go shopping for a mattress...AFTER kitty is banned from the bedroom!
